Spokesperson and Media Training

Finally – it’s your turn! Executive leadership has tapped you to be the lead spokesperson on an upcoming product launch or key company initiative, a role you’ve lobbied for because you know you’ll be excellent!

Being a spokesperson is a leadership opportunity. One that is vitally important to an organization, especially when engaging with reporters and analysts. To be credible in this role requires keen listening skills and focus on three tenets: your message, your audience, and your impact.

We co-create a customized program to support your innate communication talents while working these tenets and deepening your listening behavior. You learn strategic message preparation, best practices, as well as an understanding of the news media business and the goal of an analyst.

Because these are experiential programs, you participate by practicing through scenario-based interviews, which are video recorded. You receive plenty of feedback on what works and where you can improve, specific coaching to increase your credibility, and overall encouragement. The result is you feel more competent and confident engaging with media and analysts; and earn credibility for yourself, as well as your organization.

In working with Elaine, I’m so impressed with how readily she can transform a somewhat reluctant executive into an assured, polished presenter/speaker. She instills confidence and authenticity in her clients, providing valuable insight into why it is so important to stay on message as well as how to accomplish that.
